Life Begins In A Garden....

I am so enjoying seeing my garden "come to life"!
I'm behind with planting, weeding, going to all my favorite garden shops etc...after having been to the beach! So Thursday I pulled up all the pansies in the front flowerbeds & Friday I planted about 7 flats of begonias. Red, pink & white...the dark leaf variety that can take that hot, west facing afternoon sun!

So many of my perinnials are coming up! I decided to buy a new digital camera since mine has started acting up & is a little bit "dated"...so here's a few pictures of what I'm seeing in my garden so far this month!

White Clematis vine full of blooms!

Varigated Hosta...and purple columbine that "self sowed!"

Purple Wisteria Vine...and pots waiting to be planted!

These purple and yellow iris were "gifted" to me from Barbara's garden!

I always love sharing plants with friends! Its so fun to say "hey, so-n-so gave me that plant!" Much much more to do, so I'll continue to post "garden views" as summer starts! This week I also shipped my first package to Elizabeth in the Ukraine! It left on Friday "on a wing & a prayer"! Hopefully it will arrive safely & will not be inspected and sifted thru too much! It will be so fun to send things to her over the coming year!

Thank you for the garden pics!! You know I'm loving them! The flowers are pretty over here, but there's nothing like Alabama "home gardens!" Gawjus!!
Blessings,
